Shizuoka is one of Japan's most famous tea regions, and this hojicha is made from its green tea leaves, roasted over gentle heat until fragrant and amber. Open the bag and you will notice the warm, toasty aroma right away.

How to prepare

1. Add about 3g of leaves (1 heaped teaspoon) per cup to a teapot.
2. Pour 150ml of hot water at 90 to 100°C.
3. Steep 30 to 60 seconds, then pour every last drop.
4. Enjoy a second infusion. For a latte, brew it strong and add warm milk.
